Bobby Hancock, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, CFE, CEPA
Bobby brings over 30 years of accounting and management experience to the table. In addition to a Bachelor of Business Administation in Accounting, he is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with specialty credentials in valuation and forensic accounting; Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Additional specialty credential as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA).
Bobby is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Center for Employee Ownership, The ESOP Association, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and Exit Planning Institute.
Bobby has a beautiful wife, Joann, of 33 years and a wonderful family of 3 children and 1 grandchild.
Bobby and his family love the outdoors and enjoy camping and hiking every chance they get.
Marietta Martin, CPA
Marietta G. Martin graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 1982 from Metropolitan State College in Denver with a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting. After several years as a Tax and Accounting Manager for a small accounting firm, she went into practice for herself. She has owned two accounting practices in the Denver area. After moving to Grand Junction in July 1999, she purchased an accounting practice from a local public accountant and has recently joined Bobby Hancock in establishing The Hancock Group, LLC.
Marietta holds a Certified Public Accounting certificate from the State of Colorado. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Marietta has over 30 years of extensive experience in tax services, accounting and financial consulting, including trust and business planning, business evaluation and management services. Her experience includes a broad range of industries emphasizing in real estate, restaurants, professional services (physicians, attorneys, etc.), construction, retailers, manufacturing, wholesale distributors, trucking companies, farming and equestrian activities.
Her interests are her family, reading, gardening, computers, and her business.
